Penganjur BERSIH 3.0 hari ini mengumumkan bahawa perhimpunan tersebut akan diteruskan pada penghujung bulan ini - 28 April - di Dataran Merdeka, pusat bandar Kuala Lumpur.
Pengerusi bersama Gabungan Menuntut Pilihan Raya Bersih dan Adil (BERSIH 2.0), Datuk A Samad Said ketika mengumumkan perkara itu berkata perhimpunan berkenaan akan diadakan dengan slogan 'Duduk Bantah.'
Perhimpunan yang anjurkan bersama dengan 84 NGO lain itu juga akan diadakan serentak di seluruh negara dan dunia, kata sasterawan negara itu lagi.
Perhimpunan kedua pada 9 Julai tahun lalu dihadiri puluhan ribu rakyat yang menuntut supaya lapan perkara itu dilaksanakan.
Kerajaan kemudiannya menubuhkan Jawatankuasa Penambahbaikan berhubung Pilihan Raya (PSC) untuk mencadangkan perkara untuk menambahbaik pilihan raya.

Bersih to hold third rally on April 28
KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 — Election watchdog group Bersih 2.0 confirmed today it will hold its third rally for free and fair elections on April 28.
The gathering, scheduled for 2pm on the day, will be held simultaneously at numerous locations in Malaysia and across the globe.
The rally, themed “Duduk Bantah” (sit-in protest), makes the same eight demands from its second instalment last July 9.
They are: a cleaning of the electoral roll, reforms to postal voting, the use of indelible ink, free and fair access to media, a minimum 21-day campaign period, the strengthening of public institutions, a stop to political corruption, and an end to “dirty” politics.
The event follows the coalition’s dissatisfaction over the parliamentary select committee’s (PSC) 22-point electoral reforms proposal, which was tabled and approved in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday without debate.
Bersih 2.0’s last rally on July 9 had drawn a crowd of thousands to the streets of the capital, despite the government’s earlier warning that participants would be arrested.
